• While serving as a volunteer, I wrote a grant that would allow Angel’s Closet to find funders to enable them to purchase their own facility. The director had recently been notified that his lease was due to end and it would not be renewed. In order to permanently alleviate this situation our plan is to relocate to a new facility that Angel’s Closet can purchase. This is a work in progress as we are now seeking potential funders.

• The work done at this community agency is not only a service we provide, but a relationship that is built every time a community member walks in to make a donation or to receive services. With every dollar that is donated to fund a childs’ school field trip or a high school students graduation fees or college entry fees, a stronger bond is built between a intangible community and a tangible family. As a prospective Administrator, I know the importance of collaborating and partnering with the local community agencies to provide the best holistic education our students deserve.
